J-1 Internship/training Opportunities at Kalahari Resort Ohio and Wisconsin
Employment Information
Number of Positions Available: 20 , Length: approximately 12 months.
Employment Dates: Positions will be available from June 1, 2009 through June 1, 2010.
Pay Rate: $7 per hour (less State and Federal taxes and any other required deductions). Overtime will be 1.5 times the regular pay rate.
Number of Hours per Week: 40 . (Overtime may be available during busy periods. Overtime pay is for over 40 hours during a 5-6 days week). October and November may be slower.
Schedule: Participants will be having different shifts. Many shifts will be approximately 8 hours. Shifts and schedules may change during the course of the program.

Uniforms: Uniforms are provided to the employees. Cost of the uniforms will be deducted from participant's payroll check.These uniforms are to be worn at the training site only. Detailed information will be provided along with this description.
About the company: Kalahari is in a small town in the State of Wisconsin very far from any large cities. Kalahari is a wellknown resort that features one of America’s largest water parks. A training at Kalahari will be fun and a great work experience in the recreation or hospitality field.
Positions and Possible Duties: Participants may experience the following rotations during the program.
5 available positions at $7.00 per hour Recreation
5 available positions at $7.00 per hour Room division
5 available positions at $7.00 per hour Food & Beverage
5 available positions at $7.00 per hour Customer Service
